Set up Claude in Kilo Code
Connect Claude models to Kilo Code through Claude API Tech. Adding a custom OpenAI-compatible provider takes only a few minutes.
Before you begin
Create an account and generate an API key in your Claude API Tech dashboard.
Get an API key →Install Kilo Code
Open Kilo Code in the Visual Studio Marketplace, click Install, and confirm the extension installation in VS Code.
Kilo Code: AI Coding Agent, Copilot, and Autocomplete
Open the provider list
Open Kilo Code in the VS Code sidebar, click Settings, and select the Providers tab. Scroll to the bottom and choose Custom provider.

Fill in the provider form as shown and click Submit to save the configuration.
